A shot of the various infrastructures connecting northland Kansas City with downtown and the south of the river stuff I'm accustomed to. On Tuesday morning I awoke at such an ungodly and absurd hour - against my will by the way - that even after doing some fun-filled bank reconciliations on the computer in the middle of the night, I was still left restless and with some time to burn before the sun was scheduled to rise that day.
So out I ran toward the Missouri River hoping to find something interesting and decent (I failed epically at that, by the way). I missed the correct lighting I wanted because I was driving around lost again, and I think I'll be keeping away from anywhere near the Missouri River for awhile as I'm starting to get miserable whenever I deal with both it and photography at the same time. That's because of the (useless and non-existent) urban planning methods that went into the road layout just as you cross north of the river. Sometimes I think it's a wonder this city is barely livable at all.
I guess this can serve as my occasional Hatin' On Kansas City post that I have to get out there every once in awhile in order to express my frustrations with it as a native. Carryon.
